Spirit Dance
One of my favourite books from childhood was Winnetou from Karl May. Even though I read it many years ago, I still remember how amazed I was by the connection Native Americans had with the nature they lived in. This painting was inspired by those memories.

It is possible
An essential need of every human being (even if it``s subconscious ) is to connect with nature and with our true selves. However in our modern, fast paced lives this need sometimes get covered by the daily tasks and hectic schedules. Living in a big city doesn`t encourage these important connections and after a while we can experience general dissatisfaction, reach a crisis or even become physically ill. This painting has a positive call and a message, saying "It is possible" to nurture ourselves and our connection to nature and find harmony within; even in our modern lives, even in a big city, it is possible. However we have to take steps in order to achieve this.
